Rolly had grown up around basketball so she was much more interested in other subjects, though she had even been on a team for awhile.  She went to Harvard for her MBA and then helped manage in the office.  Before she went to work for the team she spent a year traveling in Europe.  Her favorite place was Paris, and she spent the majority of her time in language schools there.  She also took a writing class.  The class talked about Hemingway and his time in France writing in the cafes of Paris.  She felt from the class that she would have been friends with him had they met or if she could somehow be in that time period when writers were supported for their works.  She started writing just to try out the lifestyle and gain some insight.  First she read one of his books then she visited the places he frequented.  Hemingway was a writers writer she told Pre, while he worked on his next article.  The two started going around Los Angeles to concerts, cafes, tourist spots and movies.  Her father did not approve.  He wanted to know much more about Pre and he was not open to a discussion with him.  He was a reporter, a journalist and that's all he cared in some ways or what he thought was important to know about him.  He just was that straightforward.  The rest he thought no one would believe anyway!
